Mr. Bean has one of the highest IQs in the world — 178!

Hard to believe, but the actor who played Mr. Bean has one of the highest IQs in the world — 178!

Rowan Atkinson carved his name into history as one of the most iconic comedians on the planet.
His legendary character, Mr. Bean — silent, quirky, and sometimes ridiculous — made audiences laugh in over 190 countries.
But behind the face of that “fool” was a brilliant mind.
Rowan’s IQ is officially 178.
For context, the global average is around 100. Albert Einstein is estimated to have had a score of 160.
Before the fame, Rowan studied electrical engineering at Newcastle University, then earned his master’s degree at Oxford. His thesis? Advanced control systems for aircraft. No joke.
In March 2001, while on a family trip to Kenya, actor Rowan Atkinson took control of a private plane after the pilot fainted. He flew the plane until the pilot regained consciousness. This occurred during a trip to Kenya, and Atkinson had no prior piloting experience
He could’ve designed planes or led tech empires…
But instead, he chose laughter.
What most people don’t realize is that Mr. Bean isn’t just slapstick.
It’s precision comedy — crafted with rhythm, body language, psychological nuance, and silence.
It takes incredible intellect to make something look that simple.
And get this — Rowan had a severe stutter growing up.
Speaking was hard. So he built a career around not speaking — and made the whole world laugh.
💬
His story is a masterclass in intelligence, elegance, and believing in yourself.

Let Rowan Atkinson’s journey remind you:
🔹
Simplicity isn’t the same as shallowness.
🔹
Don’t judge a book by its cover.
🔹
Intelligence doesn’t always wear a suit and speak in quotes.
