Constructed with pink bricks and granite and surrounded by a magnificent 10-hectare park, the castle narrates the story of the family that inhabited it for over seven centuries.

Did you know ? In his film, "The Last Duel," Ridley Scott recounts the story of the duel between Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris in 1386! Set during the Hundred Years' War, it is the very last duel in which justice relies on God to determine the winner and the last survivor.

Until 1936, the castle was inhabited by the descendants of Jean de Carrouges. For 600 years, its illustrious members served kings, princes, and emperors while expanding the castle and its ancestral keep. Today, it stands as one of the prominent landmarks of Norman heritage!
