This holiday season, Italy is making festive travel extra special! FS Treni Turistici is launching a festive night train called “Espresso Monaco”, connecting Rome to Munich to explore the city’s famous Christmas markets.
The night train departs Rome on 5 and 12 December at 19:57 from Roma Termini and arrives in Munich the next day at 13:00. Return trips are on 7 and 14 December, leaving Munich at 13:40 and reaching Rome at 06:33. Along the way, the train stops at picturesque towns including Verona, Trento, Bolzano, Innsbruck, and more.
Passengers can enjoy a magical onboard experience with Christmas-themed decorations, festive music, bar and restaurant services, and even a small gift for each traveler.
