"THE PURPOSE OF A RELATIONSHIP IS NOT TO LOVE AND BE LOVED, BUT TO LEARN HOW TO LOVE AND BE LOVED. We like to think that love comes naturally, that we will meet someone and everything will flow smoothly, without effort. But the reality is different: we are not born knowing how to love. We learn.
And how do we learn?
By making mistakes.
By hurting each other without intention. Thinking that we are right, but discovering that we only have pride.
We learn love when we have the courage to say "I'm sorry" without waiting for a "You were wrong too".
When instead of blaming the other, we look within ourselves and assume our share of responsibility.
Love is not just a beautiful feeling, it is a tough school.
It puts cruel mirrors in front of us - the mirror of our anger, of our needs unfulfilled, of old wounds, of our fears.
That's why real love is not like fairy tales.
Because in reality, love is not just about "butterflies in the stomach", but about:
staying even when it's hard
learning to be silent when you want to scream
listening when you want to prove that you're right
giving without measuring what you get in return
A relationship is not about "being good". It's about growing together. About going through fire and coming out stronger. About learning to love, even when it's not easy.
Because only then, love becomes real."
